Pangolin Armour panels are rubber based and are designed as a temporary fitting to a 4×4 vehicle. They should be used within an ambient temperature range of 10-40 degrees C. Tests have shown that the panels can remain on the vehicle for several weeks however it is recommended that they are inspected regularly for any problems. There is a risk that if the panels remain on the vehicles for extended period of time in very hot temperatures, there is a possiblity that you will damage the panels when removing as the rubber in the panels can start bonding to the vehicle.

Each use case is different and therefore we recommend....

- Inspecting the panels every few days on a trip

- Cleaning and drying both contacting surfaces and reinstalling the panels.

Product testing for continuous use has been 6weeks on a vehicle in Botswana summer and removal at the end of the trip was trouble free. Again each use case is different.

Maybe... Pangolin Armour is designed to be used in offroad conditions. It will however stay on your vehicle at higher speeds. Has been tested in excess of 120km/h, over a 2000km journey on a highway with no resulting failure.

Depending on your vehicle we would recommend that any small and thin pieces be stored in the vehicle and get put on when arriving in the bush. All large panels have not given any problems.

Most certainly not!! After 2 years of product testing and importing many different sheetings we have finally settled on what we consider the best for the job at hand. We now import our own custom manufactured product in bulk and are the only company in Africa to hold material.

Simply line up the panel and starting at the top apply pressure to the sheet allowing it to bond with your vehicle. To remove simply peel the sheet back from one corner.

Heat the panel or small area in the sun 🌞 or on the bonnet of a warm engine 🚘 for a few minutes.

If this does not work, it is possible that the body panel has been repaired 🔨 and that there has been the use of body filler.

NO PROBLEM!!

Pangolin Armour panels are supplied as full panels for standard factory variants and not supplied with any cut outs for custom badges, beadings as well as safari snorkels.

Therefore you may be required you to cut and modify a panel to fit your vehicle perfectly.

Using a process of marking and slowly trimming away little by little you will be able to fit the panels around any potential fitted accessory.

Simply hose down or wash with a cloth. It can be easier to clean the material while still attached to the vehicle. Then simply wipe down the adhesive side with the microfibre cloth and dry to remove any dust, and store away.

Only use water on the magnetic side of the panel.

Pangolin Armour is best stored flat, in a cool dry place. On top of shelving in the garage is perfect.

Using the supplied cary bag provides trouble free storage.
